Job Summary

MD Program Tutors assist peers in understanding MD course content and utilizing efficient study strategies. MD Program Tutors must be in good standing, and must have scored at least 1 standard deviation above the mean in the courses for which they wish to tutor.

MD Program Tutors are oriented and receive ongoing training in how to be an effective tutor, so no prior tutoring experience is necessary. MD Program Tutors must be available to tutor at least 2 hours per week for the duration of the course for which they wish to tutor, and meet with peers individually and in groups according to a mutually agreed-upon schedule.
