Must be able to walk 1/2 mile. Must be able to push, lift and carry 25 lbs. Must be able to ascend and descend ladders of 4 feet in height. Ability to regularly sit at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with regular repetitive motions (such as typing);

Job Summary

This position will provide technical assistance to faculty and staff in the Smart Classrooms and Distance Learning Classrooms.
Job Duties to include, but not limited to: Start up and shut down of Distance Learning rooms using Distance Learning equipment and services such as Polycom Interactive Video hardware, desktop conferencing (Zoom, Microsoft Lync, ConferenceMe), troubleshoot minor technical issues in both smart classrooms and distance learning rooms. Other responsibilities include office duties such as answering phones, taking messages, scheduling equipment pick up and returns.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Good customer service and communication skills. PC/MAC knowledge desired, with Microsoft Office proficiency and other PC based programs.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No

Prefer some college. Must have previous customer service experience.
