Essential Tasks And Responsibilities:

Position Description: The marketing team member will provide support in all aspects of communicating the dining program during the regular semester as well as actively engaging parents and students during the University orientation process (various summer & move-in dates).

Key Responsibilities
Visually supports program messaging by assisting the Graphic Designer with the design of collateral for various marketing campaigns, inclusive of promotions, social media, menu boards, advertisement, etc.
Communicates details of meal plans, flex accounts, advantages for eating on campus, payment options, and general information about UK Dining and helps students select the best meal plan for their needs.

Participates in dining events and meal plan and declining balance campaigns, helps to conduct secret shops and focus groups; provides general solicitation of student feedback; and supports the Dining Center.
Interacts with parents, families and incoming first-year students. Helps achieve meal plan sales goals throughout the school orientation and move-in-process via tabling, dining events, and supporting the business office.

Assists the Marketing Manager and Marketing Coordinator in driving participation, traffic and sales in residential and retail locations through development and execution of events and promotions, working with food-service staff to insure implementation, and the post-activity analysis.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
