Job Summary

UK HealthCare is seeking a Publications Production Manager II (Writer/Editor/Project Manager/Research) to support the department’s executive and internal communication strategies. This position will support internal/employee communications and other duties as assigned. This communication professional will complete many functions within a small team, including publication writing, editing, project management and research.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

The ideal candidate will have excellent research skills to evaluate health care or organizational issues, themes, current events, etc., as well as fact checking and review; the ability to manage multiple tasks and/or publication projects while accurately completing routine functions in a fast-paced, high-intensity, professional work environment; proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word; social media experience; excellent attention to quality, accuracy and detail; experience with AP style; solid written and verbal communication skills; ability to solve routine problems and manage resources; demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service, time management, and judgment; and respect for confidentiality and diversity.
