Hours will be on day, evening, and night shifts and will include some weekends and holidays. Must be available to work a minimum of 40 hours/month

Job Summary

The Patient Safety Companion works independently and under the direct supervision of the nurse. Sits with
patients with emphasis on safety. Must be able to visualize and hear patient at
all times. Intervene and notify nurse if patient is in danger.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Basic computer skills, calm demeanor, good communication skills

Preferred Education/Experience

Prior experience in a patient care setting is preferred
